Handling and installing glass safely and efficiently requires well-designed suction cup lifters. Wood's Powr-Grip makes heavy-duty suction cups for handling glass, that attach securely and release quickly for rapid and safe installation. The suction cup pads attach to the surface of the glass, and will not leave marks. This leaves the edges of the glass free for easy installation.
Suction lifters, like our "four banger" / "spyder" glass lifter (aka MRT4) and "ironing board" (P1) glass lifter, are the safest, most efficient way to move and install glass of all shapes and sizes. Unlike slings that require manual handling, glass suction lifters can install a window directly into its frame. Suction cups attach securely and quickly, safely grip the glass during transport or installation, and quickly release to maximize productivity. Our glass lifters can also be used with counter-balancers, allowing large glass pieces to be installed under overhangs, gables, or other hard to reach places.
